The Races

Humans:
Humans are primates of the family Hominidae, and the only extant species of the genus Homo. They have the ability to control the Essence but not as strongly as the other races. They are known for there extreme amounts of greediness and wanting to control every place they happen upon.

(from now on from this point you may only have two)
Elves:
Elves are a special breed of Humanoids hailing from a distant realm. They are known for there height which is very large and there pointy ears. there are many specific breeds of them, such as Dark elves or High elves. Dark elves hail from Drathea and are known for there cunning and rougish ways. High elves are usually nobles or great philosphors. There are a known 20 diffrent breeds of elves. They can control the Essence extremely and weave the essence to give them powers beyond those of Humans,Gnomes and Trolls.

Fae:
The Fae are the rarest and noblest breed of elves. They are born from nature and have a special bond with the Essence. Most Fae end up becoming High wizards of the richest of Lands or Kings of there own. The Fae are born diffrently from most races. Yes they are born sexually but they arent born from the mother. The mother stands next to the Great Aether Tree, a secret shrine in there home realm, and the touches the tree. When this happens a small crystal is formed of the tree and is grown into a Fae. They are extremely noticible or there Crystallic hair and Purple or Green colored skin.

Trolls:
Trolls are a primitave, nomatic race that wonder around the realms looking for races to devour or places to pillage. They have a strong connection with the Essence and believe that the Aether isnt a place, but a God that will lead the Trolls to there homeland and cause peace.They call this god Thur'ul, or The Bringer in Trollven. Only certain Trolls have the power to control the Essence. But they do not control through normal means, They control it through nature, conjuring potions or brews to cure or posion, or making totems that ward away spirits.

Gnomes:
Gnomes are small little Humanoids that are born in the cold wastelands in the North. They migrated to the central countries for work and money, But instead found the Essence. They, using there extreme amounts of intellect, were able to Harrness the Essence into machines that could do wonders, Such as small rods that shoot fire or automatic wagons and flying devices.

Dwarves:
Dwarves are small Humanoids a bit bigger than Gnomes. They are known for being the Forgers of the world and creating the mystical tools and armor for all the other races. They live deep in the hearts of mountains that no normal force could with stand. They have iron-like skin and the strength of ten men, all packed into a small frame. They are also known for there long beards and short, short tempers.

Orcs:
Orcs are a Humanoid race with larger tusks coming out of there mouths and a giant frame. They have a dark greenish skin that sometimes appears to be brown. They live deep in marshs or wastelands with a strong intent to kill anything that posesses a threat. They are known for causing wars and massacres for the fun of it.

Faeries:
Faeries are small Humanoids with a beautiful and delicate wings. They have a strong connection to the Essence and use the Essence in musical spells. They create amazing melodies that cause supernatural things to happen, such as put everything around them to sleep or cause natural disasters.

Thaumians: An elite breed of Humanoids that dedicated there life to understanding the Essence and the Aether. They live in only the most secluded areas of the world and the most exoctic as well. They are known for there extreme stubborness but are extremely intellegent. They have extreme control over the Essence but usually fall into madness.

Aetherians (Must be Bought):
Aetherians are the bringers of magic. They live in the Aether, the realm were all magic is made and used. They have full control of the elements and can bend it to there will. They were thought to be myths until recently and are barely seen among the Kingdoms. They are made of completely crystal but can transform them selfs to look like anyother race.
